Titan Pump Down Assemblies are offered in a variety of sizes and services to meet different needs. As wells become more complex, gravity alone is no longer sufficient to convey wireline logging tools and perforating guns to their target depths. Traditionally, costly and time-consuming methods like tractors and E-Coil systems have been used to reach these depths. However, more efficient and cost-effective solutions are now necessary. One such method involves pumping the toolstring downhole using a surface pump unit. By increasing the cross-sectional area of the toolstring, a greater force can be generated by the fluid pumped downhole. With the winch driver in the logging unit providing enough cable slack, the toolstring is effectively pumped to the target depth. Titan Pump Down Assemblies are available in a range of sizes and services. The in-line version includes a mandrel and durable rubber swab cups, which are interchangeable to accommodate different internal casing diameters, making it a cost-effective option for varying casing sizes. Perforating gun Pump Down Assemblies are also available and screw directly into the bottom of perforating guns. These assemblies use a metal gauge ring that functions as a swab cup and are hollow to allow detonators to fit inside.
