The Size 05-10-20 T-Set series features a classic design familiar to the oilfield for decades. Titan has made significant improvements to the original design, making it the toughest and most dependable setting tool in the industry. The compact, single-stage T-Set is the shortest setting tool in the T-Set lineup. Its lightweight and compact design make it ideal for stage frac jobs that require pump-down operations. The Multi-Stage T-Set provides the ability to set plugs and packers that require long setting strokes. All models function similarly. The ignition of a power charge generates gas pressure within the setting tool, which flows through a piston to begin the setting sequence. Hydraulic oil inside the tool cushions the plug or packer to prevent damage during the setting process. Once the required setting force is achieved, a shear stud breaks, releasing the T-Set from the plug or packer.
