The H-4 Perforating System is Hunting’s plug-and-play, self-orienting perforating gun that incorporates ControlFire® Recon switch technology directly into the charge tube assembly. By eliminating the need for expensive eccentric weight bars and lock collars typically required for gravity-driven orientation, the H-4 offers a more efficient solution. The patented H-4 tandem subs enable automatic rotation of the charge tube assembly, ensuring unmatched perforating accuracy. The built-in ControlFire Recon switch facilitates automated firing at depth and allows for downhole verification of the detonator using ControlFire Software. In addition to its advanced switch technology, the H-4 Perforating System utilizes Hunting’s patented modular detonator, removing the need for field wiring. The RF Safe system is fully assembled at Hunting’s manufacturing facility, ensuring top-tier quality and reliability.
